I have lived at Walker Point for quite some time, and during that time I've had the pleasure of making lifelong friends who have become like family. I've also seen many residents come and go. From my personal experience, Walker Point has been a wonderful place to call home. Sherry has been an exceptional Community Manager. She goes above and beyond not only for the residents but for everyone she interacts with. It's clear that her goal isn't simply to fill homes—she genuinely wants to build a strong, safe community where families can connect and enjoy spending time together. That commitment is reflected in the community events she organizes, the informative email updates she sends, and the professionalism she demonstrates every day. Ed does an outstanding job with maintenance. Whenever a repair is needed, he responds quickly, completes the work correctly the first time, and always treats residents with kindness and respect. Shae is one of the warmest and most welcoming people you'll ever meet. Her smile lights up the office, and she is always willing to help with anything you need. She makes everyone feel valued from the moment they walk through the door. After reading some of the negative reviews, I felt compelled to share a different perspective. In my opinion, some of the frustration expressed in reviews may come from situations where residents were unhappy about being charged for damages, being held responsible for lease obligations, or having community rules enforced. While I can't speak to anyone else's individual experience, I don't think it's fair to criticize people who are simply doing the job they're hired to do—especially when it's obvious they genuinely care about the community and the families who live here. At the end of the day, rent is a financial obligation just like any other bill. If payments are late, late fees or other consequences shouldn't come as a surprise because those expectations are outlined in the lease. Enforcing lease terms doesn't make Walker Point a bad company—it means they're applying the same standards to everyone. I'm grateful to call Walker Point home and truly appreciate everything this team does to make our community a great place to live.
